The reason Kate Middleton might not be a bridesmaid for Pippa is ridiculous

When Kate Middleton stepped out of the car on her wedding day to Prince William in 2011 all eyes were on not just her but her stunning sister Pippa Middleton, who stopped crowds in her figure-hugging Alexander McQueen dress.

And now it seems Kate might not get to repay the favour for Pippa as it's being speculated that she won't be included in her sister's bridal party as she may "upstage" the bride considering she may be Queen one day.

According to royal author Judy Wade, there's a big chance we'll never see Kate sashaying down the aisle behind Pippa, who got engaged to her hedge fund manager boyfriend James Matthews on a holiday in The Lake District last weekend.

"It's a tricky situation for Pippa," Judy said in an interview with People magazine.

"She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well?

"But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention.

"Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible."

While we think Kate may be a bit peeved off, considering she catapulted Pippa into stardom after her wedding (or in Kanye West's words 'made that b**** famous) we can see where Judy is coming from.

Can you imagine trying to follow-up your sisters wedding when your sister is Kate Middleton?

Forget about the prince charming, designer dress and royal relatives, we're going to garner a guess that the whole world won't stop what they're doing and stare at their TV screens the moment Pippa Middleton emerges from her wedding car to enter the church - and who needs that pressure in their life?

Just yesterday Pippa stepped out wearing her incredible art-deco ring, which boasts an eye-poppingly large centre stone, framed by a halo of smaller diamonds, estimated to be worth more than $350,000.

She also wore a very bride-to-be, white lace dress and a brown leather satchel bag.

In an adorable statement the couple said: "Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr. James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday, July 17, and plan to marry next year."

Now it's just time to predict which dress she'll wear, guess whether-or-not the Queen will show up on the day and pray to the wedding gods that tiny Prince George is page boy.
