Marriage. It’s tough, I get it. I’ve been divorced twice, so I know.

But when it comes to compromises, there’s a line. And for me, a partner asking to be in an open relationship after a good few years of marriage is definitely way past that line.

Darling, if your husband is asking to be in an open relationship, he’s either asking for a break-up, or, even worse, he wants your permission to see other people and then come back to you. Maybe he’s wanting a threesome.

Are you ok with any or all of those options?

If not and you like being committed and hate the idea of your partner being promiscuous with someone else, you need to make sure you listen to your needs.

My advice: put yourself first in a relationship! Don’t compromise. You deserve the best, so find someone who wants the same things and has no problem staying monogamous to you.
