Can a person’s name dictate their future? According to Albert Mehrabian, professor of psychology at the University of California, it can, with research showing the moniker you give your baby can set them up (or not) for life.

The professor has written a book called The Baby Name Report Card: Beneficial and Harmful Baby Names in which he uncovers the reasons people might be judged on their names, and how successful, ethical, caring and fun people’s names were perceived to be.

Basically if you want your child to succeed in life, you should totally call them Maddie – note that a version of the name appeared on the most successful girls and boys list. Is that a sign or what?!
