Kate Middleton has cemented her status as the most relatable royal mum ever, revealing she wouldn’t think twice about getting mental health help for her children George and Charlotte if they needed it.

Speaking out in support of one her charities, the Anna Freud Centre, and its release of their new Child in Mind podcast series, Kate is determined to fight the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

“No parent would fail to call the doctor if their child developed a fever, yet some children are tackling tough times without the support that can help them, because the adults in their life are scared to ask. It doesn’t need to be like this,” she said.

"Knowing this, both William and I feel very strongly that we wouldn't hesitate to get expert support for George and Charlotte if they need it."

For Kate, who was bullied at high school, supporting children is a cause close to her heart. The devoted mum is clearly looking to practice what she preaches when it comes to raising George, three, and 14-month-old Charlotte.

"Throughout my work with family and child support organisations, one thing that has stood out to me time and again is that getting early support for a child who is struggling to cope is the best possible thing we can do to help our children as they grow up," says Kate.
