You have to see this police officer dance to Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’

This police officer has proved Beyoncé's Formation anthem is the ultimate club banger.

The song, which was released in February 2016, was initially accused of being anti-law enforcement by many, due to the controversial lyrics and the fact that it was released just two days after the Ivy Park designer's Super Bowl 50 halftime show performance, which featured a tribute to late civil rights activist Malcolm X.

After the show, New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani came out and slammed Beyoncé's performance as an attack on cops.

During the Formation video Beyoncé sits atop a sinking cop car in New Orleans as Black Lives Matter imagery flashes up on the screen.

In another part of the video images featuring the words, “Stop shooting us,” flash up the screen.

"I mean, I'm an artist and I think the most powerful art is usually misunderstood," Beyoncé said in retaliation to the accusations.

"But anyone who perceives my message as anti-police is completely mistaken.

"I have so much admiration and respect for officers and the families of officers who sacrifice themselves to keep us safe.”

However this video, which was uploaded to Instagram by mrldavis, shows that not all policemen agree with mayor Giuliani and are in fact major fans of the singer.

"When you're a police officer but a Beyonce Stan too so you have to get in Formation, literally," the caption alongside the video said.

During the video the policeman busts a move to the catchy song, throwing his energy into his choreographed dance.

He throws his hands in the air, whips his legs back and forth and ends with a magnificent splits.

It really has to be seen to be believed.
