There's a pretty sweet job up for grabs at Buckingham Palace

Fancy rubbing shoulders with the Queen everyday? Well now you can, as she's advertised for a new position in Buckingham Palace.

The royals are looking for an Assistant Anniversaries Officer, who will be responsible for “sending congratulations that are never forgotten”.

The advert, which was places online by Buckingham Palace, states:

“The Anniversaries Team helps to produce congratulatory messages that provide a vital link between The Queen and the public. You'll prepare and send out messages that mean so much to so many people.”

“Your challenge will be to remain focused whilst processing a large number of requests for messages, ensuring that the right response is delivered at exactly the right time. You'll check eligibility for each query, and using a data entry system, you'll be 100% accurate with every congratulatory message response.

"You'll also answer telephone queries, and liaise with various relevant parties. You'll be proud of the number of messages you send out, which will drive you to consistently deliver high standards."

The palace are looking for a person who has administration experience and meets high standards of accuracy within strict deadlines.

"What's more, you'll have great IT skills, swift keyboard skills and ideally experience of database systems," the ad says.

Along with having the Queen as your work buddy, you'll also get 33 days annual leave, a 15% employer contribution pension scheme, free lunch and access to training and development to support your continuous professional development.

The permanent salary is £21,000 per annum and you'll work 37.5 hours per week.
