At 39 weeks pregnant, most women are putting up their feet and readying themselves for the arrival of their baby.

Not for six time world champion Muay Thai fighter Caley Reece, who uploaded a Facebook video of a training session that sees her punching and kicking despite her enormous belly.

"39 weeks and potentially the last time I hit pads with ma belly," Caley captioned the video.

"People ragging out on previous videos saying Im going to fall over, trip on my belly, get punched accidentally, too much on the belly etc... um... so what if I get punched in the face - my baby isn't growing in my head!! There is no more danger here than there is power walking or twisting in a pool."

Caley admits it took her and husband Daz four years to fall pregnant and she even contemplated giving up her passion so she could give herself every chance of conceiving.

But once the couple did fall pregnant, it's been smooth sailing for the mum who has continued to train.

"For those that have no idea, we do not pivot with our stomachs in Muaythai, we turn/ pivot with our hips/ feet," Caley wrote. "We have been doing this for over 40 years combined. Don't stop what you love. There's always ways around everything."
