Launched just a few days ago, Napflix is an online channel offering about 60 Youtube videos with a focus on “monotony and repetition” to help ease viewers into the land of nod.

From documentaries on Tupperware to two-hour physics lectures and the “worst film voted by IMDb users” on Turkish politics, you’ll be struggling to keep your eyes open after watching its offerings.

"The idea is to make entertainment boring," Victor Gutierrez de Tena, one of Napflix's two co-founders told AFP.

With both its creators hailing from Spain, Napflix is aimed at taking the idea of siestas "to the next level".

“There’s a lot of videos on YouTube that we were able to put on our channel that will really help people to sleep,” Victor explained to Cadena Ser.

“We choose the content based on how boring it is, or for the elevator music that sometimes goes with it.”
