Prince William busted partying with Aussie model

Laughing, high-fiving and downing Jaegerbombs, they looked like any group of friends having fun while hitting the exclusive ski slope of Verbier in Switzerland.

Instead, Prince William has become the centre of a media storm after he was seen partying with Aussie model Sophie Taylor – while the rest of the royal family were attending official Commonwealth Day services.

Prince William, who left his wife Kate Middleton and two children George and Charlotte at home, was enjoying a “boozy all-boys ski trip” according to The Mirror.

However, at lunch time, Prince William was seen outside the mountainside restaurant La Vache with Sophie, her pal, and Will’s crew - including royal regulars Guy Pelly, James Meade and Tom Van Straubenzee - downing Jaegerbombs, wine and beer.

After spending the rest of the day skiing, the group were later seen partying at the Farinet hotel and club, where Sophie currently works.

For 24-year-old model Sophie who grew up in the beachside suburb of Terrigal in NSW, it’s been a whirlwind few hours since she was snapped partying with the prince.

“Sophie said they met and had a few drinks,” her mother Joni told The Daily Telegraph. “She said he was lovely and a down to earth person.”

Shooting down any rumours it was anything more than an innocent encounter, Joni insists Sophie – who is currently dating bartender-turned-chef Aaron Goodfellow – would never “put anyone in that position”.

“She is such a girl on integrity,” said Joni. “There is no way she would put him in an awkward position.”

Prince William's ski trip came the day before his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, held a ceremony in support of Commonwealth Day which William was noticeably absent from.

William's younger brother Prince Harry was in attendance at the event, as was their father Prince Charles.

Also at the ceremony were Prince Philip, Duchess Camilla, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.
