Kid breaks glass using only his voice

It's pretty easy to break a wine glass – you just have to put it into the dishwasher too hard. In fact, half the time it seems like you only have to look at a wine glass the wrong way and it'll shatter.

But what about using your voice to break glass?

A video has surfaced online of a young boy who can do just that.

Holding a wine glass in front of the camera, he sings directly at it. The first attempt goes nowhere. But the second sees the glass spontaneously fracture.

Shot in 2009, the video has recently started doing the rounds as a new glass-breaking craze gathers momentum.

Oh, and if you're wondering about the straw? It has nothing to do with the glass breaking, the boy writes.

"No, the straw does not help the glass break (try beating a glass with a plastic straw)," he says. "It just will start to jump around when you hit the right note."
