Prince Harry attends Pippa Middleton wedding without Meghan Markle
Despite plenty of speculation leading up to the big day, Prince Harry didn't bring American girlfriend Meghan Markle to Pippa Middleton and James Matthews' wedding on Saturday.
The 32-year-old was spotted arriving at the nuptials with his older brother Prince William.
Meghan's absence comes as a surprise after recent reports not only suggested she'd be attending, but that Harry would propose after the wedding.
"Everyone gets more romantic when they attend a wedding and I'm sure Harry and Meghan will feel it too", Chris Ship, the royal editor ITV News, told NBC News.
However Chris acknowledged the pair have only been dating for a year, so "I think they will get engaged, but they might well choose to keep us — and the world — waiting a little longer", he said.
Meanwhile E! News correspondent Melanie Bromley told the publication, "We do think once the wedding is over, it will pave the way for Harry to propose without taking the attention away from Pippa".
