The Queen has been wearing this $17 nail polish for 28 years

Before you book your next appointment for a manicure, take some cues from none other than Her Majesty, who happens to keep her nails in fine form with a simple $17 beauty bargain.

Queen Elizabeth II has apparently been using the same nail polish for 28 years, and it's a fail-proof light pink shade called Ballet Slippers from American cosmetic brand Essie.

Essie's website states that the Queen's hairdresser requested the light pink laquer back in 1989 as it was "the only colour Her Majesty would wear".
