New photos of Prince Harry and former US President Barack Obama have sent social media into a meltdown.

They were spotted sitting next to each other courtside at the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada on Friday, to watch the American wheelchair basketball team.

And from the looks of these snaps showing the 33-year-old royal and 56-year-old Mr Obama sharing some laughs, it seems there's a new high-profile bromance on the cards.

Prince Harry and Mr Obama were seen cheering on the players, clapping away and even posing for some photos with fans.

Needless to say, fans on social media are very excited.

"Find someone who looks at you like Prince Harry looks at President Obama," one fan tweeted.

Meanwhile another penned: "obama was in town today with prince harry and the news had a banner reading 'HARRY AND OBAMA' and without thinking i yelled 'HOBAMA IS REAL' (sic)".
