Prince William talks Prince George's 'jealousy'

He's might be one of the most adorable royal tots we've seen, but Prince William has confessed his son Prince George sometimes gets the case of green-eyed envy monster.

At a dinner for the new Defence National Rehabilitation Centre in the UK, the Prince admitted his four-year-old was very "envious" he got to drive a digger when he first visited the site back in 2014, according to MailOnline.

"I was present at the end of 2014 when the first building was demolished to make way for the new construction," the Duke of Cambridge told the crowd at the gala dinner. "George was very envious as I got to drive a digger."

Despite his young age, George has already shown an interest in big and loud trucks, and is already known for his love of helicopters.

Prince William's confession comes after wife Duchess Kate revealed she struggles to say goodbye to her eldest child at school drop off.

"As a mother, just getting used to leaving my own child at the school gates, it is clear to me that it takes a whole community to help raise a child," the Duchess said at a recent event, according to The Mirror.

"I believe what you all know to be true, that getting help and support to young children at the very earliest stage helps improve their outcomes later in life. Whether we are school leaders, teachers, support staff or parents we are all in this together.

"We are all working to give children the emotional strength they need to face their future lives and thrive," she added.
