Meghan Markle 'distraught' after beloved dog breaks two legs
Devastated Meghan Markle has enlisted the help of TV supervet Professor Noel Fitzpatrick after one of her beloved dogs suffered two broken legs, it has been reported.
The future royal is said to have been left “distraught” after her beagle Guy suffered an accident leaving him with the incredibly serious injuries.
Meghan rescued Guy from a shelter and brought him to Britain from her Toronto home earlier this year as she made the move across the pond to be with her fiance Prince Harry.
The move was particularly heartbreaking for the Suits actress as she sadly had to leave behind her labrador-shepherd cross, Bogart, as he was deemed too old to travel.
According to the Mail on Sunday, some time after news of Meghan and Harry’s engagement was announced, Guy was involved in a currently unknown accident.
It has been claimed that TV star Noel Fitzpatrick, an orthopaedic-neuro surgeon expert, is doing all that he can to help Guy, with Harry accompanying Meghan on visits to check on her pooch at a facility in Surrey.
Meghan has previously spoken out on how much she adores her dogs, calling them “my boys” and gushing that they “mean the absolute world” to her.
A spokesperson for Kensington Palace has declined to comment.
