An unsuspecting Aussie is about to have their life turned upside down following news one winner has taken out the entire $55 million Powerball jackpot for themselves.
The Victorian entry took out the highest lottery jackpot in the last 12 months, but was purchased by an unregistered player – who has yet to come forward with the winning ticket.
Tatts have revealed the winning ticket was purchased in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, and will announce the exact outlet tomorrow if the winner hasn't come forward by then.
They’re urging everyone to check their tickets and come forward to start the prize collection process as soon as they can.
“With $55 million up for grabs, last night’s Powerball draw was one of the most hotly anticipated draws of recent years and one Victorian player won it all,” Tatts spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said in a press release.
“We can’t wait to confirm the out-of-this-world prize with our mystery winner! Just imagine how $55 million might change your life and the lives of your nearest and dearest.
“There are 55 million reasons why all Victorian players who had an entry in last night’s draw should check their ticket this morning."
Think you might be in with a chance?
The winning numbers are 32, 7, 5, 34, 38 and 11, and the Powerball number was 12.
