The big difference between Meghan and Kate's photos

With the eyes of the world on them, both Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are constantly being photographed. But there is one subtle difference between their photos.

Since Meghan's engagement to Prince Harry, she has been photographed out and about a few times already, performing her 'royal' engagements with ease. Coming from a background in television it's clear the former Suits actress isn't bothered by cameras.

While Kate didn't initially come from the spotlight, she's since had seven years to perfect her posing, looking regal any time she is snapped by photographers.

But if you look closely at the women's photos you'll notice a small difference - Kate never looks directly at the camera, while Meghan tends to look straight down the lens.

According to body language expert Judi James reveals a little about the women's different personalities.

"Meghan's habit of doing what is called 'camera courting' (addressing the camera with a direct eye gaze), suggests a desire to communicate openly and confidently in the way that her peers would do via social media and blogs," Judi told Cosmopolitan.

Kate’s relationship with the camera on the other hand is more passive.

While she looks stunning and poses well there is “no regular direct communication from her”.

"The fact she has even got behind the camera herself to snap some of her children's official photos suggests a slightly more introverted personality than the very camera-confident Meghan," Judi explained.
