Malia Obama spotted on date with boyfriend
Nineteen-year-old former first daughter Malia Obama has found a way to keep warm in the American winter with her teenage love.
The eldest Obama child explored the streets of New York City hand-in-hand with posh British boyfriend Rory Farquharson on Saturday.
The couple met at Harvard last semester and the Ivy League school in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has since been a witness to their blossoming romance.
They was first spotted together last November at a Harvard-Yale football game.
Now the paparazzi-friendly couple was seen enjoying the big apple — Malia was in a $86 Urban Outfitters floral dress, paired with $168 black Dr. Martens boots and a black coat.
Her boyfriend chose a more colour-vivid ensemble, pairing dark pants with a plain grey T-shirt. He braced himself against the cold temperatures in an oversized blue puffer jacket.
By most measures, the teenagers looked happy and in love while strolling around Manhattan.
Rory is the son of Charles Farquharson, who is a chief executive and director of an investment fund management group in London. According to The Sun, insiders say he is “quite a catch.”
For privacy reasons, the 19-year-old rugby player deleted all his social media shortly after the couple made national headlines when he was spotted kissing Malia Obama in public for the first time, just like Meghan Markle did shortly after her first royal engagement of 2018.
