What Meghan Markle eats for breakfast every day

She’s about to become one of the most photographed women in the world and Meghan Markle is making sure her skin is in tip-top condition.

The 36-year-old former Suits actress, who has an undeniably flawless complexion, eats the same thing for breakfast every day, which gives her that princess glow.

Unlike her fiancé, Prince Harry, who has previously confessed to bacon and sausage sandwiches for breakfast, Meghan enjoys a much healthier option.

In an interview with Glamour magazine, Meghan revealed that she takes care of her body in the morning by eating steel-cut oats, mixed with sliced banana and Manuka honey.

Manuka honey, which comes from New Zealand, is a known antioxidant and is perfect for soothing sore throats, flus and even split ends.

It’s also an ingredient in many beauty products, as it’s said to heal acne and help improve the signs of open pores.

Meghan’s breakfast is also a stark contrast to what the Queen prefers to eat in the morning.

It’s been claimed that the Monarch enjoys a cup of Earl Grey tea accompanied by biscuits first thing, before moving on to a breakfast of either cereal, toast and marmalade or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.

Indeed, Meghan’s eating habits will have to change once she become a member of the royal family.

When they’re out on royal engagements, it’s been reported that the Queen and the rest of the clan are banned from eating shellfish.

While we all may instinctively gravitate towards juicy mussels, clams and prawns, the royals stay well away from it.

According to The Sun, there’s actually a very practical reason behind the decision for the royals to shun shellfish.

Kate Middleton, Prince William, the Queen and everyone else in the family can’t afford to get food poisoning, which is usually associated with shellfish.
