Prince Charles ‘enraged’ over Harry’s guest list

They’re set to tie the knot in just a few short weeks, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding planning has hit a huge snag following reports of in-fighting amongst the family over the big day.

While the couple have been keeping details of their May 19 nuptials under wraps, royal insiders say Prince Harry’s father Prince Charles has gotten wind of who is on the guest list – and he’s not happy.

There’s one guest in particular Harry’s insisting attend, and it’s none other than his controversial estranged aunt, Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson.

Sarah was married to Prince Andrew for 10 years before their very public split in 1996, and the scandal that ensued is something Prince Charles and his father Prince Phillip have never forgotten.

“It has been made very clear by Buckingham Palace that they don’t want the Duchess of York to attend,” a source told Daily Mail.

In spite of this, Harry’s determined to make sure Sarah is included.

He wants his aunt there - and she will be,” adds the insider.

Sarah, who is mum to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie – who is set to tie the knot herself in October – was very noticeably overlooked when Prince William wed Kate Middleton in 2011.

“I chose to go and be in Thailand in a place called Camelia… the jungle embraced me,” Sarah revealed to Oprah Winfrey at the time, admitting that she struggled with the snub.

“I wanted to be there with my girls… to be getting them dressed and to go as a family.”

However it's a very different scenario with Harry, with insiders claiming he's determined to make sure Sarah attends at least part of the day in an attempt to heal the family rift.
