The bizarre thing you never noticed about these Disney princesses

If your whole childhood revolved around Disney princesses then this revelation will blow your mind.

It turns out there’s something very bizarre about cartoon characters like Princess Jasmine, Alice in Wonderland and Pocahontas that we’ve only just noticed now.

While they might have massive eyes, tiny waists and perfectly arched eyebrows, the iconic princesses are actually missing something very important.

As pointed out by Buzzfeed, the all-singing, all-dancing princesses have no fingernails.

We’ve spent years and years fixed to our TV screens watching the princesses don beautiful dresses and we’ve never noticed this in our lives.

But looking back at old pictures now, we don’t know how we could have missed it.

When Pocahontas was running through forests and climbing trees, she was doing it all without fingernails – now that’s impressive.

Likewise, Princess Jasmine managed to ride a magic carpet without having talons to hold on.

Interestingly though, in some of the scenes from Aladdin, Princess Jasmine actually does have beautifully sculpted nails.

According to The Sun, the lack of fingernails on some of our favourite Disney characters may be all down to time and money.

Apparently is extremely expensive to add tiny details to cartoon characters and considering it took us 29 years to figure out they don’t have any fingernails, we reckon leaving them out is money well saved.
