Meghan Markle 'not happy' with royal life
Meghan Markle is just weeks away from walking down the aisle and saying ‘I do’ to Prince Harry but new reports have surfaced, claiming all isn’t as happy as it appears in the royal household.
The 36-year-old former Suits actress is reportedly struggling with her new life in London with the royal family and desperately misses her old life in LA.
“She is not happy and is finding thing very tough at the moment,” a source told New Idea.
Indeed, Meghan has gone through a lot of rapid changes in the past year.
She quit her job on a major TV show, moved across the world to be with Prince Harry, settled in to Kensington Palace and is now being watched by millions of people all over the globe when she attends official royal events.
On top of that, she’s spent Christmas with the Queen of England, gone through a baptism and planned a wedding.
“She is having several massive changes at once in her life and she is only human,” author of Royally Suited, Phil Dampier, told New Idea.
Meghan’s hesitation about living in the royal fishbowl isn’t exactly new information.
Back in November, before Prince Harry had dropped to one knee and proposed, Meghan’s ex-workmate, Max Toplin, told New Idea that the star was struggling.
However, he claimed she’s extremely happy with Prince Harry and just needed time to adjust to her new life.
The news that Prince Harry has also invited his two ex-girlfriends, Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy to his wedding also probably isn’t helping Meghan settle in.
"Harry has stayed good friends with Chelsy and Cressida, so they will be there,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“He made sure there were no hard feelings when they split up. I don’t think Meghan will mind."
