Cara Delevingne strips down to show her ‘Lady Garden’ for a good cause

When was the last time you had a really honest conversation about your lady garden?

Whenever it was, model Cara Delevingne wants there to be more talk and less taboo after being named the face of the Gynaecological Cancer Fund’s latest #LadyGardenCampaign in the UK.

Aimed at getting women talking about their gynaecological health, the campaign wants to “empower women everywhere to talk more openly – without shyness or shame.”

For those not in the know, “lady garden” is a euphemism for your vagina, and using the term is meant to highlight the fact that women often feel uncomfortable talking about their bodies.

Admitting her nickname for her lady garden is “Randy Jackson or Shanaynay”, Cara’s determined to break down the taboo surrounding women’s vaginas.

“I’m just so happy I can be a spokeswoman and really help women to feel free to talk about their bodies, and to talk about these kinds of problems because everyone is beautiful and everyone deserves to be confident in themselves,” says Cara. “And I love lady gardens!”
