Great news for babies with big heads

Big-head people rejoice, you’re the smartest of us all.

New research from UK health resource Biobank says babies born with bigger craniums are likely to be smarter, according to findings reported in the Independent.

The new findings were discovered in a study that was published in the Journal of Molecular Psychiatry searching for links between genes, IQ and general health.

Researchers collected blood, urine and saliva samples as well as background and lifestyle information for more than 100, 000 British people.

From the data analysis the scientists discovered that people born with bigger heads were much more likely to get a college degree and score higher on a verbal/numerical test.

Babies born with a head circumference more than the average, which is 13.5 – 14 inches, seemed to have higher intelligence.

So big-headed babies rejoice.
