Rachel Hunter's bikini body at 47

It’s been nearly three decades since New Zealand model Rachel Hunter’s iconic 1988 Vogue Italia cover, but it may as well have been yesterday!

The 47-year-old is doing a Christie Brinkley and looks better than ever in recent snaps from a day at the beach.

Dressed in a pink patterned bikini, Rachel is seen having a ball doing handstands along Auckland’s Pakiri beach in the pics posted to Instagram and Twitter.

Rachel has previously said her secret to maintaining her figure comes down to healthy eating.

“The science is pretty basic - what you eat is what you'll look like. If you eat pancakes and waffles, you'll have a pancake and waffle body,” she told Women’s Weekly back in 2013.

“My advice to anyone over 40 is to only do it if it makes you feel good."

The TV presenter, who used to rule the 90s runways alongside Elle Macpherson and Naomi Campbell, shares two kids with ex husband Rod Stewart.

More recently, a Woman’s Day report claimed she was romantically linked to Kiwi actor Joe Naufahu who played Khal Moro on Game of Thrones, but Rachel appears to deny it in this Facebook post.
