Skipping breakfast can give you bad breath
If you’re like many of us rushing to get out of the house in the morning, then skipping breakfast before you run out the door is probably something you’re guilty of.
But be warned, according to a dentist, this can leave you with more than just an empty stomach screaming at you by the time you get to work.
Dr Mervyn Druian, of the London Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry, has warned that skipping what is already supposed to be the most important meal of the day can actually leave you with bad breath.
Now we know why.
“It leaves the morning mouth dry allowing bacteria to linger,” Mervyn told the Daily Mail.
He also says a quick breakfast or cereal bar won’t do the trick either.
“Choosing something quick like a cereal bar can supply the mouth with sugar creating an even greater environment for bacteria to grow.”

The Science Behind Why You Get Hangry
Self-reported figures reveal that around 40 per cent of the population, deal with bad breath, medically known as halitosis.
So what’s the best thing to have for breakfast then?
Mervyn says try a piece of fresh fruit and a glass of water – one of the most effective ways to get rid of bacteria.
Or you know, you could just brush your teeth.
