Mum channels Chewbacca during labour... and it’s hilarious

Now that’s a labour video that you’d never get sick of watching.

UK mum Aimee Smith decided she would bring some fun and laughter to the labour ward for the birth of her third child.

Channelling Star Wars favourite Chewbacca, she brought with her the electronic mask that turned every one of her moans of pain into hilarious growls.

That’s definitely a way to deal with the unpleasantness of contractions.

It’s also possible that uncontrollable laughter helps.

At one point in the video, she’s also seen reaching for the gas, sucking in the goods while the masks keeps Wookie-ing on.

Her partner Michael Ogden, who is there to try and comfort her during the birth, asks how she us doing before he’s reduced to laughter as well.

“It was my third and last child, I thought I might as well go out with a bang,” Aimee told The Sun.

Aimee plans to keep the footage and store it in son Albie’s memory box.

“You never know, he might end up being a Star Wars fan and think it’s the best thing ever.”

We definitely think it’s the best thing ever!
