Mum grilled for breastfeeding during sex

A controversial mummy YouTuber has been ridiculed by viewers after doing a cringe-worthy morning TV interview.

Tasha Maile was grilled by the hosts of the UK's This Morning on Monday, after she defended herself for once breastfeeding during sex.

Vegan and breastfeeding advocate Tasha explained that her baby was only a couple months old at the time, and was asleep and latched onto her breast when she and her partner became intimate.

“I think many other parents have had sex in the same room that their children are sleeping in," the mum-of-three said.

But things went off the rails when one of the hosts started asking her when it becomes wrong to have sex while your children are around.

“It’s not about being right or wrong, it is what it is. If you’re having sex in front of your children and it feels good to be having sex in front of your children…" she said.

Realising that Tasha probably didn’t intend her thought to come out that way, the shocked host said, “That’s one hell of a quote!”

“I’ve got a feeling if you did that in this country social services would be knocking on your door.”

Viewers have since taken to Twitter to add their two cents.

Tasha, who describes herself as a "spiritual mama”, recently published a video to her YouTube channel to explain that she was only talking about nursing during sex because someone asked her about it.

Responding to her critics she said, “First of all, if you actually listen to the video it’s talking about how my three month old would not allow me to put him down at all.

“He was attached to me 24/7 and he was also using me as a [dummy] at night.”

“Sex is a beautiful thing,” she explained, “we are all feeling beings, we love sex.”
