Princess Mary's twins chuck a wobbly on first day of school

It’s one of the biggest days of their kid's early life and Princess Mary and Prince Frederik looked proud as punch posing for photos outside their adorable twins’ new school on their first day.

But the young royals chucked a wobby outside the gates of the school, with every parent around the world sympathising with the Danish royal and her husband.

While Crown Princess Josephine of Denmark beamed as they stood at the gates of Tranegård School in Hellerup, Denmark, with their backpacks and uniform on, Crown Prince Vincent looked nervous, with his eyes red from cyring.

The six-year-olds were perfectly colour coordinated in light blue uniforms and schoolbags brimming to the top - but the day proved too much for little Prince Vincent.

Princess Josephine looked delighted as she posed with a pretty hairband in her hair, which matched her adorable light pink sandals and baby blue uniform.

And while Prince Vincent may be giving the camera the thumbs up in the Danish royal’s official snaps on their Instagram page, photographers outside the school gates caught him chucking a wobbly.

Princess Mary tried to calm him down as he began to cry, clearly overwhelmed by the big day.

The 45-year-old Princess bent down and wiped his tears away before all four walked through the gates of the school.

It comes after it was claimed that Princess Mary is currently caught in the middle of a royal dispute.

Just this month it was revealed that the Danish Queen’s husband, Prince Henrik, has decided not oto be buried alongside his wife when he dies, after she refused to give him a King title.

“Mary is trying to build bridges and help everyone calm down, but she will be taken aback like everyone else,” an insider told New Idea.

“She knows she must be ready, however, if she is needed to take over sooner rather than later.”
