Pink shares 'mum break’ selfie pumping breast milk

Just like any breastfeeding mum who has gone back to work, Pink knows when you've gotta pump - you've gotta pump.

The singer was happy to share her mum moment - with her make-up done and surrounded by Chanel beauty products — with her pumping bra on show, after taking a break from promotional duties in London in the lead up to the release of her new album, Beautiful Trauma.

The photo has already received almost a quarter-million likes, with thousands of comments cheering on her mummy style. “You are amazing! Thanks for sharing! Because breastfeeding is normal!!!” wrote one fan. “Multitasking at its finest!!” agreed another. Meaganew writes what the rest of us are thinking: “Awesome pic! I didn’t look that great doing that though!”

Pink has always been proud to show off her mummy side. She’s been known to describe son Jameson Moon Hart as “delicious.” Her Instagram is a must-follow, filled with photos of her two children in between shots of arena tours and political action. She gave birth to Jameson less than a year ago, and he’s quickly become a teeny Insta celeb in his own right. “Mamas multitasking,” she captioned this sweet family photo.

Multitasking is clearly her motherhood mantra. Just last month, she shared a photo of her hair midstyle, all while breastfeeding Jameson. “Jameson can multitask too #workflow,” she wrote. Look closely, and you’ll see Jameson wielding a makeup brush in one hand. It’s never too early to learn how to properly body-contour. Makeup artist Kathy Jeung shared the same shot and joked that baby Jameson was a “makeup artist in training.”

A true breastfeeding advocate, Pink has shared photos of Jameson grabbing a meal in plenty of locations. In April, she took the then-4-month-old on a hike and fed her little “hot pocket” right there in the great outdoors. Her hashtags included “#normalizebreastfeedingyo” and “#arewethereyet.”

But even Pink has been the target of the mum-shaming that’s all too prevalent online. When she posted a photo of herself cooking with her children nearby, trolls clamored to denounce her parenting skills for letting her children get too close to the stove.

Fortunately, Pink has legions of fans willing to fight for her in the comments section. “Mummy = Multitasking!” wrote an Instagrammer named Diane Hunter. “Would you rather she be giving them microwave specials or, like most from the celebrity world hire a chef! I think Mrs Hart has made motherhood and wifery her priorities in life! Love just oozes for her husband and kids!”

As the increasingly supportive comments under her photos show, we’re on our way to leaving mummy-shaming behind — but we’re not there yet. Fan viktoriakasseroler summed up our thoughts perfectly: “ppl make it an issue and ppl gonna hate. U go momma breastfeed that baby. So beautiful.”

The good news is that we have a feeling comments from either side aren’t going to stop her from sharing photos of those delicious kids.
