The one sign that gave Kate Middleton's pregnancy away
Kensington Palace has announced Kate Middleton is pregnant but here’s how we knew the Duchess was expecting before the Royals officially confirmed the news.
Yes, Kate has been lying low of late, but speculation ramped up last week that the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge have got a bub on the way when a UK bookmaker shut down bets on whether Kate was pregnant.
Other bookies then started handing out odds on the new addition's name.
A surge of bets on Kate being pregnant led the bookies at Coral to make the call.
"This latest gamble suggests to us that Kate and William could be set to make an announcement soon that they are expecting a third child therefore we have pulled the plug on the market to allow the dust to settle," Coral's John Hill said in a statement.

"We have opened betting on the gender of the third child where boy is the favourite, while we have taken bets on Kate giving birth to twins and triplets."
And other bookmakers are taking bets on names for a royal baby.
Irish bookies Paddy Power listed a range of names, including Alice with odds at 8-1, Victoria at 8-1, Arthur at 10-1 and Henry at 10-1.
Suggested names Georgina, Emma, Harriet, Thomas and Christopher were less popular with odds at 66-1.
But that's not the only sign the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 35, were expecting.
In mid-July they were touring a technology company's headquarters in Poland when Kate was handed a cuddly toy designed to soothe small children – and she laughingly turned to WIlliam, saying, "We will just have to have more babies."
Indeed the bookies were right, Kensington Palace announced in a statement Monday that Prince George will be a big brother for the second time and Princess Charlotte is to be a big sister.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child," the statement said.
"As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London today.
"The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace."
Congrats to the happy couple.
