Netflix pulls kids show as mum spots very rude image

Netflix has pulled an episode of a popular kids show after one hawk-eyed Aussie mum found a very rude picture hiding in the background.

Chey Robinson took to Facebook this week to share a photo from the aptly named “King Willi” episode of Maya The Bee that shows a phallic symbol carved into a tree.

“Please be mindful of what your kids are watching!!" Chey wrote, “I did NOT edit any images whatsoever, this is Maya & The Bee, Season 1, Episode 35.”

Other parents were quick to jump on the bandwagon.

“Ridiculous," wrote one mum. "Regardless of whether the child will focus on that and see it, they slip things like this in there. Disgusting. Not more of this show for us."

The response has prompted Netflix to take the offending episode off air.
