Mum's shock as son's toy appears to bark out the F-word

A mum was stunned to discover the alphabet dog toy she bought for her baby boy “appears to bark out the F-word”.

Chloe Angel filmed what she claims is her 11-month-old son Huey Hinchliffe's musical gadget dropping an F-bomb.

First-time parents, 26-year-old Chloe, 26, and 31-year-old Chris bought the LeapFrog AlphaPup from Toys R Us last year before Huey was born.

While it was intended to be a Christmas present, Chloe decided to give Huey his gift early as he was being a very good boy – and it proved to be an entertaining treat for the whole family.

The AlphaPup is a fun learning aid that sings a 'dog version' of the classic nursery rhyme One Two Buckle My Shoe replacing 'buckle my' with 'chew on', for example.

Dance teacher Chloe believes the lyrics causing a stir were intended to be 'three, four bark at the door' but claims 'bark' sounds like a very different and much ruder four letter word.

"He was sat there playing away happily and then he pressed the song button and I just looked across the room in shock and asked his dad 'What did that just say?',” Chloe said.

"I went over and pressed the button again and we were just in hysterics.

"We kept pressing it to see if it could sound like anything but the F-word but it doesn't. It is singing about doing something very rude at the door.

"If Huey was a bit older it would be different but he doesn't understand at all. He just thinks it's great making mummy and daddy laugh so keeps pressing the button.”

AlphaPup is a black and white dog on wheels that can be pulled along on a string with colourful alphabet buttons and the infamous music button.

And because Huey loves it so much, his parents have let him keep it – despite the fact it sounds like it’s swearing.

"We've let him keep the toy. He loves it and he's too young to know why we find it so funny,” Chloe said.

The battery-operated toy, manufactured by VTech Electronics, is designed to help tots with their early vocabulary and motor skills.

VTech and Toys R Us were both contacted for comment but declined.
