Inside Princess Charlotte’s exclusive $35k-per-year nursery

Kate Middleton and Prince William are sparing no expense for Princess Charlotte's first school experience, with the couple confirming they’re sending their two-year-old to Willcocks Nursery School next year.

Reports claim the exclusive nursery school – located near London’s Hyde Park and close to the family’s Kensington Palace home – charges an incredible $34,500 for three terms of morning and afternoon sessions.

"We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte,” Kensington Palace report the school saying.

“We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January."

Described as a “traditional nursery” with a focus on “high standards, excellence and good manners”, the toddler is set to visit the school with Kate and Wills in tow for a short visit to see how comfortable she is there.

"The morning school accommodates 32 children aged between 2 3/4 and 5 years,” the nursery website reads.

“It is a fun and structured morning with lots of free play where children embark on the first stages of learning to read, write and to understand simple numbers with the minimum of pressure.

With Charlotte’s brother Prince George starting at $30,000-a-year Thomas's Battersea school earlier this year, it looks like the couple will have some more time on their hands in the lead-up to the arrival of their third baby in April.
