Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof: Her life without Michael and Paula

Tiger celebrated her 21st birthday last year. We're sure Michael and Paula would be so proud.

How Tiger Lily has grown up without her parents

Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence was born in July 1996, much to the adoration of her parents Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates.

While friends of former INXS frontman Michael say he was always a bit of a Peter Pan - never wanting to grow up - he took to fatherhood like a natural.

Adorable home videos shown in Seven doco 'Michael Hutchence, The Last Rockstar', show him cooing over his precious Tiger.

Tragically, Michael was found dead in a Sydney hotel room in 1997. Here Tiger is pictured with her mum and half sister Pixie Geldof in 1999.

In 2000, British TV presenter and mum of four Paula died of a drug overdose, leaving Tiger Lily - pictured here in 2003 - orphaned.

Tiger Lily was adopted by her mum's ex husband Sir Bob Geldof, who was also left to raise his three daughters (Tiger Lily's half sisters) Fifi Trixiebell, Pixie and Peaches.

In 2008, the same year this photo was taken, Tiger Lily took on the name Geldof, officially becoming Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof.

Tragically, the family suffered yet more loss in 2014 when Paula and Bob's second eldest daughter Peaches passed away at age 25.

Tiger Lily has largely grown up sheltered from the spotlight. She's only been pictured on rare occasions at public events with her family, like this charity fashion show in 2010.

Tiger was absolutely adored by her biological dad and looks just like him in this photo shared on Instagram a couple of years ago.

One of the pages of Michael's diary had a tiny poem written to his baby girl: "Tiger, Tiger, sleep for a while, and when you wake up, just give us a smile!"
