Man manages to catch 15 ducklings jumping off a ledge

When these ducklings were separated from their mother, they decided to get back to her in the fastest way possible – and in this case, that meant jumping 20 metres on to the ground.

The ducklings had clearly underestimated how big the jump was, because the first one to fall severely injured its little leg – leaving nearby human witnesses, Tampa Bay man Eric Pelno and his girlfriend, Channing Deren, traumatised.
According to Channing, Eric quickly jumped into action, positioning himself below their nest in order to catch them on the way down and cushion their fall.
As you’ll see in the video above, he manages to catch every last errant duckling, saving them from certain death.
"Eric just went into beast mode and started catching ducklings from the sky!" Pelner's girlfriend, Channing Deren, wrote in a Facebook post.

"I was doing ok until they started jumping two at a time!," Eric added.
