According to Vanity Fair’s Royal Watch, the Duke and Duchess have planned an itinerary that includes child-friendly activities.

“There will be a heavy focus on nature, the outdoors and there will be at least one private day factored into the trip. . . We’re hearing hiking, walking and outdoor pursuits will feature while the family is in British Columbia,” a source said.

Will and Kate are no stranger to the country, having visited weeks after their 2011 wedding.

Reluctant to leave their kids at home, the royals have decided they will be bringing three-year-old George and one-year-old Charlotte along with them.

“They really can’t bear the idea of leaving Charlotte and George at home,” this source said.

“Arrangements and logistics are being made for them to travel as a family and the flights have all been booked.”

While we’re unsure of the exact dates of the trip, it’s been confirmed the family will be travelling to British Columbia and Yukon, and will meet up with Canada’s Prime Minister and father of three, Justin Trudeau at some point during their travels.

“Our Prime Minister loves this part of Canada and he’s keen for the Cambridges to see it. He spent some of his early life in British Columbia and he and his own family holiday in Tofino. He’s taken a keen interest in the itinerary, which is being finalised at the moment,” the source said.

In 2014, Prince George went away with his parents to New Zealand and Australia for a 10 day trip, and in 2016, the Prince and his little sister, Charlotte, joined their parents for a special holiday in the French Alps. This time, the lucky ducklings will be jet setting to North America.

We wonder what's next on the Cambridges' itinerary.
