Before you stalk your ex's Instagram stories, you should know this

Have you been stalking your ex or ex’s new partner’s Instagram Stories?

Well, little did we know until now that Instagram users can view who’s watched their clips - meaning, your ex most likely knows you’ve been spying on him. Gulp.

While Instagram never previously told you who exactly had viewed your videos, its new Stories feature does and it’s pretty much like Snapchat, expect for some minor differences.

There’s no need to go and freak out because your cover has been blown. Instead, look on the bright side, you too can also see who has been looking at your Stories. Maybe he’s been taking a peek too!

Here’s how to find out who’s been watching your Instagram Stories:

Simply go onto your Story and swipe up.

You’ll be able to see how many people viewed that mouth-watering burger you ate and who exactly saw that hot little black dress you wore on the weekend.

The up side to Instagram Stories, is that you can click on a person’s name and you’ll be taken to their profile and be able to watch their stories, no matter if you’re following them or not.

But once you’ve viewed their story, they will be notified that you've watched it and there’s no turning back.

However, there is one awesome little feature that let’s you choose which profiles you’d like to hide your story from - which is perfect for those not wanting to share their every move with their ex!

For some, this feature might not bother you at all, in that case - continue stalking!

But if knowing that the people you have stalked can see that you’ve viewed their stories, then stick to the original Instagram feed, you’ll be safe there… Unless you accidentally hit 'like' on a photo of him and his new GF… well then, we can’t help you there.
