Kate Middleton had the eyes of the world watching her when she tied the knot in 2011 and now her younger sister, Pippa, looks set to do the same.
The 33-year-old, who will marry hedge fund manager James Matthews in May, has apparently splashed out on a massive “blingtastic” wedding.
The nuptials will take place at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire, before the wedding party of up to 400 guests will retreat to Pippa’s parents' back garden for a marquee reception.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source said no expense has been spared, with the marquee being transformed into a classy fairytale wonderland for Pippa’s big day.
"It will be blingtastic. The best chaampagne, Krug or Bollinger, and a specially devised champagne cocktail,” they said.
"Pippa and James have a penchant for Blanc de Noir Tillington 2009 from Nyetimber at £75 a bottle - and wonderful food. No expense will be spared. This isn't a bangers-and-mash, sitting-on-hay-bales affair. Pippa is hardly a floaty bohemian type."
And while her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton have been busy making sure the 18-acre estate is ready for the occasion, Pippa has been focusing on what she’ll wear down the aisle.
It’s been reported that Pippa has chosen an elegant lace gown with long sleeves for the day, which will no doubt show off her incredible figure.
British designer Giles Deacon has reportedly been spotted visiting Pippa at her home, leading many to question whether he has been working on a creation for the star.
It’s also been revealed that Pippa sent out 'Save the Date' cards just before Christmas so her guests would keep the date free.
And with just four months to go before they officially say ‘I do’, Pippa and James are reportedly set to fly away to the Eden Rock hotel in St Barts to top up their tans.
Meanwhile while it’s been reported that her sister, Kate Middleton, won’t be included in the wedding party, it’s thought that she will be involved in the ceremony in some way, with sources claiming she’s set to do a reading on the day.
Prince George will likely be page boy and Princess Charlotte will be a cute flower girl.
