Harry and Meghan's $59 million prenup
They may only be together for less than a year, but it’s been revealed that Prince Harry is so serious about marrying Meghan Markle that he’s already drafted up a prenup.
According to Woman’s Day, the smitten 32-year-old Prince and Suits actress Markle have set a wedding date for September 22 and are currently in the process of financially protecting themselves.

Harry and Meghan are reportedly worth a whopping $59 million between them and lawyers for the pair are said to be finalizing the document within the next few weeks.
While Markle may be a Hollywood actress, the publication claims she’s worth $7 million to Prince Harry’s $52 million fortune.
The British prince was reportedly left a $19 million inheritance after his mother, Princess Diana, was killed in a car crash in Paris in 1997.
He was also said to have been left a smaller, undisclosed sum of money when his great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, passed away in 2002.
And Harry is adamant that he wants to take charge of his relationship, even though it’s reported that his dad, Prince Charles and his brother, Prince William, are questioning his actions.
Prince William reportedly refused to sign a prenup when he wed Kate Middleton in 2011 in a lavish ceremony and Prince Charles and Camilla also do not have a prenuptial agreement.
A royal insider told Woman’s Day that Meghan was the one to initiate the legally binding contract as she wants to be financially independent if it doesn’t work out.
“She thinks it’s very important they retain financial independence,” the source said.
“It’s a sure sign Harry is serious about announcing the wedding soon.”
The pair are reported to have met last May when they were both supporting the Invictus Games in Orlando.
In June, Canada-based Meghan was spotted in the Royal Box at Wimbledon and posted several pictures of herself outside Buckingham Palace.
She also made trips across the pond in June and July, while she and Harry both conveniently found themselves spending part of the summer in Africa, with the royal in Malawi to help out with a conservation project, and Meghan in Rwanda on behalf of a children’s charity.
Since then, things between then loved-up duo escalated fast, with Meghan even visiting his hometown of London recently to spend some time with her love before filming for the next season of Suits starts.
