Passenger pranks airline with Britney jokes

It’s been nearly 15 years since Britney’s iconic hit Toxic, but it seems cabin crews across the globe still haven’t lived down her legacy.

A cheeky customer in the US took it upon themselves to prank Southwest Airlines this week, and use a zingy Britney punch line.

Twitter user @xadoringpaige posted her chat online, revealing how she told the company’s complaints department that a flight attendant was extremely rude to her.

“Basically, she only referred to me as ‘fattie’,” she wrote to the horror of the Southwest representative.

“When I asked her for extra sugar for my coffee she hesitated, and when she gave me it she whispered in my ear ‘You’ll die soon enough fattie’.”

While under normal circumstances, many people would find this hard to believe, the world is still recovering from the footage of a passenger being dragged kicking and screaming off a Delta flight. So really, is anything beyond the realm of possibility?

Well, the complaint’s officer was absolutely appalled by what she heard and apologised profusely, before asking if xadoringpaige had caught the flight attendant’s name.

This was her reply:

At least the respondent had a sense of humour!
