Meghan Markle in 'princess training'

She’s been dating Prince Harry since last November and now it appears that Meghan Markle is in ‘princess training’.

The 35-year-old Canadian actress sensationally shut down her lifestyle blog The Tig two weeks ago as rumours swirl that she is quitting her role on hit show Suits to spend more time with Harry.

And while many might think Markle is simply invested in her new relationship, royal watchers are sure the beauty preparing to leave her life in the spotlight behind to become a member of the royal family.

“Meghan has been given a list of pre-wedding rules from the palace to ensure she’s not doing anything which would put her or her family in an unfavourable light,” a source told Woman’s Day.

According to the publication, Markle is currently in ‘princess bootcamp’ and has enrolled in classes, which focus on British history.

She’s also reportedly receiving etiquette lessons and is being schooled on the type of clothes she should wear.

It’s also been claimed that the palace has given Markle a questionnaire to fill out on her five-year plan, which is meant to determine whether or not she’s princess material.

“They want to make sure she understands what public life is like and that she is sufficiently devoted to the job of being a royal family member,” the source said.

The news comes after sources claimed that Markle is ready to quit her role as Rachel in the show Suits to focus on her new life as a royal.

Back in February, friends of the Suits star – who is based in Toronto due to filming commitments – revealed the couple were “practically living together”.

“They've taken things to the next level,” a source told The Sun.

“She cooks for him, he pops out to the gym and they're just enjoying hanging out.

“Meg has always enjoyed spending time in London, but she's really putting down roots.”

It's also been reported that Markle has booked time off from work so she can attend Pippa Middleton's wedding with Prince Harry on May 20.

“The American actress wants to take a week off between 15 and 22 May, which would allow her plenty of time to travel to the UK for the hotly-anticipated nuptials in Berkshire on 20 May,” reports Hello!

Pippa’s strict wedding attendance policy means that only those with partners who they are married or engaged to can attend.

However, with Meghan making plans to fly to the UK, insiders say it’s a sure sign that things are certainly heading in that direction with her and Harry.
