This five-year-old pageant queen has been crowned 60 times after her devoted mum has spent $48,733 on her daughter’s lavish lifestyle.
Gabriella Roberts, five, from Pennsylvania, USA, entered her first pageant at just four-months-old and has since won over 60 competitions.
Her devoted mum, Lacie, 27, has not only spent thousands of dollars but has travelled endless kilometres to accommodate for her daughters glamourous lifestyle.
Over the past five years, Gabriella has entered over 100 pageants – meaning most weeks have been spent tirelessly preparing for the events.
Lacie admits her daughter's hobby isn't cheap.
"Gabriella has a coach who works with us for two weeks before each pageant, she practices half an hour every day,” she explains.
"The last pageant we went to cost us around $937 in total, and that included the entry fee, her outfits and the hotel we stayed in.
"But usually each pageant can cost us anywhere from $2702 to $796.”
Despite the financial cost and strict rehearsals, Lacie insists her daughter loves nothing more than getting her hair and nails done in order to impress her friends.
"Over the past five years we have spent thousands on Gabriella, it's an expensive hobby but seeing the smile on her face is all worth it,” says Lacie.
"We have entered over 100 pageants and her collection of crowns and trophies is really impressive.
One huge part of Gabriella’s pageant costs are her intricate outfits.
"At the moment her pageant wardrobe is worth around $2,700 but because Gabriella is so young she grows out of her dresses quite quickly and so we do sell them on,” reveals Lacie.
"On average a new outfit costs $270, but Gabriella's most expensive one would be her glitz dress which was $1,600.
Lacie had always been interested in pageants from a young age but unfortunately was never privileged enough to enter herself.
"I knew that when I had a daughter I would enter her and that's exactly what I did,” she adds.
"I entered Gabriella into her first pageant in 2012, she was just four months old but I saw one advertised that was local to us.
"From there I found out about other bigger pageants and that's how we got more involved.
"We mainly do the more natural ones, but Gabriella always gets her hair done and nails painted for each one she competes in.
"Some of the pageants require a talent and for this Gabriella does a baton and gymnastics routine which the crowd love.
"The prizes are amazing, I barely buy her any toys because she wins so much, she has all the latest dolls which would cost a fortune to buy.
"Gabriella also receives cash prizes which are usually around $135 but the most she has won is $770.
"She always has at least one thing she wants to buy herself but we usually put some of it in her savings account and invest some back into another pageant."
Lacie insists that the pageants are just a bit of fun but admits they can get competitive at times.
"I am so proud of her, she is only five and has already achieved so much, it amazes me how she gets up on stage with so much confidence and wins the crowd over," she says.
With Gabriella winning four ultimate grand supreme titles and three grand supreme titles amongst her host of trophies, Lacie reveals there’s no plans for the pair to stop.
"Even though Gabriella works really hard we like to keep it fun and now that she is older we do around six to eight pageants a year,” says Lacie.
"Gabriella loves competing and being a part of the pageant world gives her so much more confidence."
