Incredible beach optical illusion

If you think you can trust your eyesight, think again.

This extraordinary video will prove just how easy it is to deceive literally anyone's vision.

First, you have to stare unblinking at a colour-distorted image of a tropical beach, being careful to focus your eyes on the Be logo.

The image will then switch to a version of the same photo, but with normal colours.

Or does it?

What you're actually seeing is a black and white photo. Skip the video back back and check if you don't believe us!

The trick is all in the way your eye's chromatic receptors register colour.

After looking at the orange and purple image for long enough, your eyes' colour receptors for these shades get tired, so the blue and green receptors step in to compensate. This means you start to see blue and green where there is no colour at all.
