Royal baby boom: Kate and Meghan's pregnancy joy

There must be something in the water at Kensington Palace because according to reports both Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are set to welcome babies into the royal fold this year.

According to OK! Magazine, the Duchess is about three months along with her third child, while Prince Harry and his Suits actress girlfriend are desperate to start a family, with her friends believing she might even be pregnant already.

“Kate is telling those close to her that she’s thrilled to be pregnant again,” a source told the publication.

“She’s still in the early stages of pregnancy.”

Kate famously struggled with morning sickness during her last pregnancies with Prince George and Princess Charlotte and according to the publication, this time around she’s being treated at home for her hyperemesis gravidarum.

It’s said Kate is ready to welcome a sibling for George and Charlotte but isn’t keen on telling her two kids, as she’s afraid George might spill the beans at his kindergarten.

Meanwhile Prince Harry’s girlfriend of five months, Meghan Markle, is apparently being very vocal about her desire to become a mother.

“Meghan’s friends are speculating that she’s pregnant because she’s avoiding alcohol and has been complaining about feeling nauseous over recent weeks,” a source told the publication.

Indeed Prince Harry has never been shy about his want for a family and is often photographed larking around with children during his charity trips abroad.

Speaking to The Telegraph last month, the Prince said he’s always wanted to have kids.

"I, of course, I would love to have kids," he said.

"Yeah, I'm a godfather to quite a few of my friends' [children] … actually only five or six."

When probed about whether or not he thought he was a good godfather, the Prince replied: "I'd like to think so.”

“But I think the key to that is to grow up, but also to be able to stay in touch with your childhood side.

“If that means going to someone's house and sitting there and playing PlayStation and kicking the ass of their son on [video games] or whatever it is, then I'll try and do that. I've actually had a lot of practice for that."

The royal baby boom news comes after Meghan Markle has reportedly been given the nod from the Queen herself, who believes that she’s a good influence on her grandson.

In fact, Meghan is so welcome at the Queen’s home that she doesn’t even have to sign in on arrival and is waved through security, an action mostly unheard of unless you are a member of the royal family.

People visiting Buckingham Palace are usually asked for photo identification and are asked to fill out a few pages of forms before allowed entry into the home.

According to US Weekly The Queen met with Meghan at Buckingham Palace and is “fully supportive” of Prince Harry’s new relationship.
