Trump's office has a special 'Coke' button

He famously tweeted that he’s “never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke” but now Trump is said to have a big red button in his office from which he orders the cool drink.

The U.S. President apparently needs his Coca Cola on tap and when he presses the button it alerts a butler, who immediately knows what Trump’s after.

The button sits on a wooden box atop the Oval Office Resolute Desk and while the box was also there during Barack Obama’s reign as president, it’s not known whether or not he used the bell for that purpose.

Trump’s unusual desk décor came to light in an interview with Associated Press to mark the President’s 100th day in office.

"With the push of a red button placed on the Resolute Desk that Presidents have used for decades, a White House butler soon arrived with a Coke for the President," AP reported.

“A man accustomed to wealth and its trappings, Trump has embraced life in the Executive Mansion, often regaling guests with trivia about the historic decor.”

Trump’s ‘Coke bell’ comes after he controversially Tweeted out in 2012 insinuating only overweight people drink the beverage.

“I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke,” he said.

But just five days later the then Apprentice show host seemed to backtrack on his stance.

“The Coca Cola company is not happy with me--that's okay, I'll still keep drinking that garbage,” he Tweeted.

Since taking his place in the White House, Trump is said to have made some interesting changes to the famous abode.

One of the first things to go was the huge circular rug in the Oval Office which was inscribed with quotes from former presidents.

Trump replaced it with a rug designed by George Bush’s wife, Laura Bush, of a bursting sun, claiming it was more his style.

He’s also reportedly added a lot more junk food to the White House pantries and draped the oval office with opulent gold curtains.
