WATCH: Outrage as teen arrives to prom in a coffin
If there’s one thing I loved about my school formal, it was getting to ride in a sweet limo to the ball with my group of friends.
However one New Jersey teen has caused uproar after she chose to arrive at her prom in a coffin.

Megan Flaherty took things to another level when she attended the Pennsauken High School prom in the back of a hearse, complete with two undertakers and the lid of the coffin closed on top of her.
The 17-year-old was holding a bouquet of white flowers in her hands, which were joined together at her waist and she dressed for the occasion in a chiffon strapless dress.
However people are horrified at the teen’s mode of transport, claiming it’s “disturbing” and “disrespectful”.
But Megan’s mother has jumped to her defense, saying her daughter meant no harm by her coffin entrance and revealed it’s her dream to become a funeral director.
“Megan decided about a year ago that this is the profession she will enter into,” her mother started.
“She has already made her choice of a school. She has already donated her time to helping in funeral services.
“The hearse driver is her mentor.
“No disrespect meant....just a celebration of knowing what she wants to do with her life after graduation and of course, celebrating Junior Prom.”
Megan told nj.com that while it was all in jest, she does like to be different.
“I’m a quiet person in school, so people didn’t expect it,” she said.
And while many people were disturbed, other people online thought Megan’s look was “goth goals” and “fresh to death”.
