Inside Pippa's half a million dollar wedding plans

Pippa Middleton is set to walk down the aisle today in a ceremony fit for a princess!

The younger sister of Duchess Kate looks set to rival the 2011 royal wedding with some pretty extravagant details including a horse and carriage entrance, plane fly-over and a few very posh port-a-loos.

From what we’ve heard so far, Pippa hasn’t spared any expense when it's come to decking out the interiors of her marquee, which is set up in the Middleton’s sprawlling backyard in Bucklebury in Berkshire.

New reports claim Pippa’s $170,000 glass wedding marquee, which is 43-metres long and shipped in from Belgium, will be fully equipped with luxury port-a-loos when she ties the knot to multi-millionaire hedge fund boss James Matthews.

According to the Daily Mail, a firm called AndyLoos are set to provide the port-a-loos for the estimated 300 guests on the big day, which will be decked out with marble basins and oak fittings.

It’s believed that the company would be charging about $10,000 for the port-a-loo service.

Pippa and James are set to say "I do" in St Mark’s Church in Berkshire, at 11.30am sharp (8.30pm AEST), and she is believed to be making a grand entrance in a horse and carriage - quite like her sister Kate did when she married William in a church ceremony that started just half an hour earlier at 11am.

“I have heard on good authority that Pippa will be riding in a carriage from Bucklebury to the church, just like a princess,” a local told The Sun.

“A livery yard owner has been told that she will be driven in a carriage to the church.”

The bride is thought to step out in a Giles Deacon designed dress with a whopping $70K price tag, according to the Daily Mail, and will later change into a second dress for the evening reception which will take place at the Middleton family manor, ten minutes away from the church.

The Georgian mansion boasts acres of land perfect for the royal guests which will include Prince Harry and girlfriend Meghan Markle along with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridgeand their kids George, three, and Charlotte, two.

Both youngsters will be playing a role in the ceremony with George acting as pageboy, and his adorable sister as a bridesmaid.

Earlier this week, Kate told guests at the Queen's garden party that she was a little concerned about how the pair will behave on the day.

Apparently, Pippa's early ceremony start time is down to the fact that Charlotte needs her afternoon nap. But it remains to be seen how the young princess will react when a rather noisy Spitfire plane does a "flypast" to celebrate the big day.

However, she may prefer the dessert a little later on in the evening, with Pippa and James expected to have a five tiered wedding cake which will come close to the eight tiered one her sister had back in 2011.

Either way, the evening looks set to be a spectacular one, and with estimates from Bridebook putting the total cost at AU$440K, we're expecting a whole lot of extravagance!
