Meghan dodged a fashion faux pas at Pippa's wedding

When it comes to dressing for a wedding it’s never easy to pick an outfit but now imagine trying to decide on an ensemble for Pippa Middleton’s big day.

Meghan Markle found herself in that exact situation last weekend when she accompanied her boyfriend, Prince Harry, to Pippa’s reception in Berkshire.

All eyes were on Pippa and her new husband, James Matthews, as they started their new life together and meanwhile Meghan made sure she stayed in their shadows.

A photo of what appears to be Meghan Markle exiting the reception with Prince Harry has been doing the rounds and she seems to have gone for a black outfit on the night.

According to The Sun, Meghan wore a long black dress, which she matched with a white jacket and was seen mingling with the crowd.

However it’s now been revealed that Meghan waited until the big day to pick out her outfit as she wanted to see what Kate Middleton was wearing first.

According to E! News, her friend and stylist, Jessica Mulroney dressed her for the wedding day and made sure she adverted all the attention away from her.

"Jessica is a fantastic stylist and is smart enough to know that, as well as making sure Meghan looks her best, they also need to be mindful about what Kate is wearing," an insider told the website.

"The last thing anyone would want would be for them to be in a similar colour or design. Meghan would never want to attract the wrong kind of attention."

It comes after it was reported that Meghan Markle was so eager to make an impression on Harry’s friends and family that she was going to go all out with her ensemble.

E! News claimed that the actress had two fittings in Toronto for her wedding day creation just to make sure it’s perfect.

Pippa decided to kick her ‘no ring, no bring’ policy to the curb when it came to Prince Harry’s lady love, even though it’s believe her finance, James Matthews’, brother isn’t able to bring his girlfriend.
