Shock over toddler 'tattooed' on video

A video posted to YouTube has caused outrage after it appeared to show a toddler getting a tattoo.

The little girl in the footage seems delighted as her father draws a star on her wrist and then fills it in.

The video is captioned: “this is what happens wen you have a father tattoo artist :)”

However all is not as it seems, as the pen is in fact a biro and the tattoo is fake.

And while the girl may have been able to wash it off straight away after the video, that didn’t stop the internet descending into anger.

Many commenters thought the video was real and were appalled that such a young child was getting her first tattoo.

“Isn't she too young for a tattoo?!,” one person said.

“This is not ok,” another commenter said.

“God is going to charge those parents. Such an abomination,” one person said.

The little girl’s uncle weighed in, claiming it was just a tender moment between the toddler and her father.

“Love this video!!! This is my little niece, proud of her daddy and what he does, of course it's not real,” he said.

“It's a biro connected to his kit to convince her she was really having some of daddies amazing art work.

“Do people really search you tube expecting to watch toddlers being inked!!!.... Sick if they do!!”
